Where do you buy RAM?

What model Powermac is it?

A Powerbook requiring a SO-DIMM or a Powermac requiring SDRAM DIMMS?

RAM is RAM, don't get swayed buying apple specific top dollar stuff.

Tell me what you need exactly, I don't know the iMAC's and i'll have a look in my draws.

I have 17'' Imac G4 with 512 ram and will go to 1
1-PC-2100 200-pin SO-DMM, 1-PC-2100 184-pin SDRAM 1 GB Power PC G4 Powermac 6.1 W833400HNJO

Thanks :)

It takes two different formats of RAM ?

SO-DIMM aka laptop memory
SDRAM aka DIMM, desktop ram

PC-2100 aka DDR266 is easy enough, I would assume the faster will also work.

I think these being compact things take the laptop memory

Are these numbers on it somewhere ?

looks like you take apart and can replace the 'big stick' DIMM with a 1GB module, then add/or use the accessible SO-DIMM 'small stick' port .

I'll have a look if I have either, hopefully not thrown them out.
Might be a day or two though.

Just gone through crucial as a lot of mine was from there
