When I was a kid in the seventies we collected the football stickers to put in the albums. All the players had bad hair and the number of foreign players was near non existent. Liverpool seemed popular but Man United, who were they :lol:

I always ended up with shed loads of Aston Villa, didn't even know where they came from but I thought it sounded posh :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I used to do my nans green shield stamps and also collect the PG tips cards which were free as were the books to stick them in, which also came from my nan as nans drink lots of tea and shop in the Coop.
 
there were no shops where i lived as a little person....just a large forest,,,,13 sinal reg "h troop" listening post and the east german army hell bent on freeing us from the oppression of the capitalist devils....oh how i miss those care free days of listening to the three minute warning on sundays :P
