Hmm. Personally, there's really only one stand-out football-based film in my mind....well, I wouldn't say it was the best football film I've seen, but it's in the top one.

Almost forgot American Flyers. Objectively, not a good film, in fact possibly a crap film as it stars Kevin Costner, but I just love the cycling around the beautiful Colorado National Monument. I watch it to cheer myself up. It always works.
