What's this bike (Parkpre?)

The frame is definitely titanium, see pics below.

Forks are Ballistic XL 460A which seem a bit of an oddity. If these are original and need to stay they are going to need some work as they have zero bounce.

I don't really want to open any cans of worms with the history of this bike, but the frame number is all there should someone come forward.

Cable is in the wrong guide under bb shell.

And yes I can even touch the floor on this one :P .

If you are thinking of splitting this up could I have first dibs on the PFR stuff? It's only re-branded Kalloy and Tahoma stuff.

At the moment I've no plans to strip it but if that changes, first dibs are yours.

Just had half an hour outside with the paint stripper  .

I might be wrong and give you misleading hope....but those rear drop-outs look identical to the Ti Pro Elite: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... highlight=

Under the few scratches it looks raw Ti too. Taking the the seat-post / BB out will quickly see if it is Ti? If it's not, either way it's a nice bike.

Ive seen that dropout elsewhere and recently too :?
I have a mystery Ti myself and in the hunt for its origins came across one looking the same :? the welding at the dropout is the same so i thought i found it till i saaw the hole

Im really sorry,i cant say who made it  It wasnt what i was looking for so dropped it

Go to your local car shop and buy a tube of 'autosol'
Rubber gloves and a cloth on all the XT bits will make them look like new with little effort.Dont start using wire wool the cloth is fine.If you think afterwards that there are still too many deep scratches then by all means give it a going over with sonething harsher like wet and dry 1000 grit then steel wool [0000 grade] then the cloth.
Its a great job to do infront of the telly with an old towel across your lap and surgeons gloves to protect you hands :D

Just seen this, what a find! Who paints a Ti frame
Raleigh for one  dyna-tech,RSP.

I know lots of people bitd both BMX and MTB in Birmingham who dedecaled their bikes as soon as getting them, and did it myself on a few bmx.

I think things have calmed a bit, or its coz i is now old, but i had a good few mates who had their bikes nicked by a group of kids/teens who just would walk up to you, smack you in the face and take the bike off you. The BMX tracks were well known for being targetted by this sort of scum.

paint job looks too well done for a nicked bike, so possibley someone trying to hide their ti light under a bushel
