What they riding then?

Despite different frames etc most seem to be running the same group.

What would it be?

Thanks.

94km to go.

Re:

Shimano Tourney?

I dunno tbh, probably lots of mechanical groups rather than Di2? Ultegra/ dura ace, probably some Sram stuff in there too.
Let's face it, the riders don't have to buy their own stuff.

Don't see too many riders using disc brakes this year though :?

Edit: I stand corrected, looking tbrough the link below it seems lots (all) of the World Tour teams are using electronic groupsets. Interesting reading....

I've been told by a spanner wielding guy working for FDJ that 90ù of the bikes are Di2or Campag/Sram eqiv some riders like mechanical shifting if the weather is very wet/mucky. Marcel Kittall had a disc brake shod bike yesterday (Friday ) but there is some concern about the rotors injuring riders in a crash & they are trying to introduce covers/shields over the rotors not sure how that will pan out on quick wheel changes

Top pro teams are Record / Red / Dura-Ace. It's all part of the sponsorship / partnership deals like for the frames themselves.

Many lower pro teams (not in the TdF) you find use more ordinary stuff like 105.
