Oh how times have changed. Compared to say 30 years ago today's gruppo is essentially transmission and brakes.
No headset, no seat pillar, no pedals and no hubs.
Factory frames, factory wheels and all the big component manufacturers missed the clipless pedal revolution started by Look in the mid/late 80s.
Not to mention new fangled 3rd party elipsoid pita bread shape chainrings, and probably some weird BBs integrated in the frame.
