Dear all.
I have been trying to find out what QR spanners that was on the market in 1990. Its for a lovely orginal Klein team usa where I want to have it perriod correct. But the clunky XT qr is not doing their thing for me.

Ringle was out in 1991/2 right?
Did American Classic put their out before?
What a bout the Oddesy style ones or the Salsa's

Any help much appiricated.

Re:

Yeah they're the ones I was thinking of. I might be wrong though, as checking on the Paul site it says it was the seatpost QR released in '89, ''then came QR's for wheels.'' :?

Re: Re:

89-90 will be ok for me.. thats a close hit to a 1990 Attitude.

I have not seen any of these Paul come up for a long time. It may be just because the market is floated with the new ones. The new are nice but that would never go...

Anyone know when the Salsa qr hit the market?

Ringlé Cam Twist (and Ti Stix which are Cam Twist with ti spindles) were available in 1990, as used by Herbold, Tomac and Furtado at the 1990 Worlds. Best looking skewers there are IMO. I have Ringlé Ti Stix on my 1990 Yeti with a Bullseye hub up front.
