What tyres for a 1990s build

i I am currently working on a 90's build, and wondered what tyres people would recommend.

I have some GP3000s somewhere, barely used, but if they are dry and cracked, what would be suitable alternatives?

I don't mind if they aren't actually vintage - I don't want to spend £100 per tyre.

For reference, it is skinny steel, chrome lugs and wheels are on Open Pro SUP.

Thanks

Conti Grand Prix Classic would be a good one. I ran Super Sport Ultra's in the 90's and they look similar with a brown sidewall. Michelin Dynamic Classic is another one.

Michelin Axial's are a pretty good tyre for a 90s build you can pick them up at a reasonable price but some are just silly money.

Veloflex Masters

I would second that; they are essentially a very high quality 'summer' bike tyre that would be a good choice for road racing. The Veloflex tyre that was used in the 1990s was the Pave; the Master and Corsa are the current version, and are virtually the same as the Pave; I am not sure if anything changed with replacing the Pave. They are basically the same type of tyre, the only difference being a black sidewall on the Corsa, and tan sidewall on the Master. I use Masters on my 1998 Trek OCLV and and simply the most fantastic tyre I have ever used in terms of ride quality.
They are also, as far as I know, the only tyre that is hand made in Italy today.
You can have different colour treads, obviously black with tan sidewall is 'proper' classic look :)

I suppose the Continental Grand Prix Classic might be worth a try; I have been thinking about giving them a go.
