What frame is this Bianchi bike?

Can anyone help me identify the type of Bianchi this was?

There are two inscriptions in gold on the top tube but the picture is too grainy for me to make them out. Does anybody know what they might say and what frame this was?

I think the groupset is Record (unsure whether Super/Nuovo) and was owned by my grandfather until it was stolen.

Hard to say with certainty, but yes I think it might.

Looking closely the first word almost certainly says Giro but there seems to be more written afterwards that D'Italia
