What do you think of these bars ? (modern content sorry)

Window shopping for new bars for my Orange for when i get some cash, had my mind set on these Answer 1" carbon risers,

Was on the Charge bikes site earlier (looking at their single speed "Pub" bike ) when i spotted these bullhorns which i quite fancy, i think they would suit the Clockwork better too than the risers,

I've got the answers on my stumpie and they're fine, not too much too say graphics and finish are good,look nice and a quality bit of kit. Got them off ebay though about a year ago, there were lots for sale.

I think the bullhorns are 26.0mm and mtb bars stem are 25.4mm? Could someone confirm this,might need a new stem too.

I was doing the same today. Like the look of the answer bars too. but flat bars

I run two carbon Answer pro taper bars on my modern full sussers, one standard and one oversize. They are really nice, stiff, precise and with good geometry (upsweep/backsweep). Answer Pro-tapers have been around and favourites for ages, alloy Pro tapers qualify as proper retro, and they come in gold anodised too.....

FWIW The Answer Pro Taper is one of the very few 25.4 mm carbon risers that are supported by the manufacturer for Downhill use. Plenty strong.

Damn, i never noticed that :shock: , i thought there was only two MTB sizes, 25.4 and the mahoooooooooosive 30 odd mm modern one :?

Swaying back towards the Answers now anyway
