what color should i paint my YO?

You can paint it any colour you like!

Its a Chance built steel frame, you just cant get it wrong!

But i would go black and white, cos its the puppies plumbs

Cheers,Al

I go for black forks with either orange or gulf blue on the frame.

Secondly, white forks, the headset, downtube and top tube in white fading into yellow in middle to back end of frame.

I just had mine resprayed, would have loved Grellow but took it on very good advice that it would be an extremely difficult colour to achieve accurately (apparently even Fat Chance struggled to get it the same everytime),

Some great sounding suggestions above although I've always thought that Team Lavender looks pretty fine.

I have confidence in the guy i'm using he has a local reputation for restoting a lot of fats and Wojcik's. That team lavender might be alittle easier though but i'm not sure red and black would look good on it & i only have one 3d violet post.

White with a black rear end and black forks, one of the cleanest colour schemes they did and probably the easiest paintjobs to replicate without having to worry about RAL codes and 'candy over-spraying' etc. Would also go a treat with the black stuff
Ditto!

I know that this one is the wrong age and that it's green and black not white and black, but this is what I was thinking (just imagine white where there's green, edit: just remembered that this is the one that Jeff has put up here a night or two ago:

I just can't find that photo of Zak Tempests bike from the early 90's MBUK anywhere, that was exactly the one I was thinking about![/url]

Ok....how about chameleon (sp?) red one side and blue other - or is that too Ritchey?

To Ritchey, and reminds me of that Trek VW 8900 that was blue on one side and white on the other.

Arggh. I had that comment when I did my Goat (Look back on my Goat that won BOM a few years back). Cream one side and light blue other. Really well painted by MSTEEL. Decals (from Gil) were lacquered over so they look embossed like Klein)

Lovely frame that and it cost me a bomb to repaint. Gumps new owner now.

Really nice buy that.
