What are these worth? Brian rourke & Alan vintage bikes

Love the Brian Rourke . The quality shines through. Hand built in Stoke on Trent .

Paul Washington being the builder. For sure considering the period.

Yes. Hand built like the pro-stuff of the period for Moducel, ANC team who rode BR instead of the sponsored Pugs in the TdF and supplied numerous UK national champions. A great period of BR bikes founded on every definition of quality.

Beautiful bike...

But if I may... I from my other hobbies, always hate the "What is this worth" posts....

But in this hobby, honestly, what's the gauge we use to ask a fair price?

For vintage stereo EQ for example we have hifiShark, eBay and such....

So, what about our vintage bikes/frames/parts?

Example...

I have a mint 1994 18" Stumpjumper M2 FS with matching Future Shock.... looking at eBay, frames alone are going for $360.xx plus USD... with matching forks (not rebuilt mind ya) $550-$680 USD is what I am seeing.

Now mine for example was purchased and only ever used as a commuter. Never saw off road riding/single track, always maintained, and it looks beautiful. It had fenders, a rear rack and flat DX style pedals on it. The OG wheelset was and still is perfectly true.

It has the OG LX front derailleur, BB, headset and the LX rear derailleur is still on the frame. I also have the matching seat post.

I have zero idea what the hell to ask if I ever go to sell this.

Cheers,
Scott

@SFP Apples and pears. For one, the BR is handbuilt unique and would have most certainly been made to measure with everything that entails.

The other is - the Generalised Stumpy - while potentially desirable - banged out in (unknown) masses overseas with no name attached to it bar the decal.
