I pay my pension. it's taken from me every month. 38 years as a civil servant will do me very nice. 15 time years and i can dip in to the pot ££££ 8)

I'll leave the breeding to others deal with. China does very well on a one child only law.

If you are lucky enough to earn over 44 thousand a year for god sake bring your own children up,if you can not afford to then do not have any.
It is simple really, the previous government was giving money away at an alarming rate.....(and I never got any of it) I have never claimed a penny from this system and have always paid into it,When my wife had a nervous breakdown a couple of years ago and came out of work we were down by 300 a week and we were entitled to nada nothing jack.................because I was self employed and if I gave up work then we would have been able to claim some money but not enough to survive  The whole senario is a mess....

I was in a sports shop recently and a real chave toadie came in and proceeded to buy half the shop with money she was given by the government for popping out another illegitimate child    when I could barely afford a pair of cheap trainers  bllody disgusting or what :?: :?:

Tend to agree with that

I found out how much my Brothers partner has for 2 kids on the system and was quite surprised....all my thoughts were is I wish I had that much per week and I have a f**king full time job!

I worked out my hourly rate for my self employment and it is about £1.30 an hour,my sister has a child and gets about £4.80 an hour...........and she pays no tax on it either

I know of alot of people in my town that have only had children to get a flat and a secure income  It drives me mad...........but I am eating my lunch and the thought of this gives me indigestion..........

A fair few benefits are taxed at source..

It's no secret that we survive on benefits (and have 3 kids)..

We don't have posh cars, holidays, a modern TV, Sky or cable etc. etc. couldn't afford it..

Not everyone who relies on the system gets crap-loads of cash and lives a life of luxury..

None of that is whinging, I don't have the right to moan about it.. it's just fact.

I know that Ian,but you previously did work and as such are entitled to help,my sister went to uni,and the government paid, she then went to work for our local mp for a few hours a week and he told her she would be better off if she quit here three hours a week position and waited until here student loan had been written off before getting a proper job...........he was a labour mp.............with people like him in some position of power then people will take the easy way out   I rest my case

I was just throwing that out there Scott.. it wasn't in direct response to you matey ;)

I did work matey.. for 19 years.. and paid a crap load of tax for most of them :(

Kirsty worked in the year following my accident (or maybe the year after that, I'm not sure), her salary (from a Vx main dealer) was so piddle poor, and they cut so much from the benefits, that the JobCentre advised me to tell her to pack her job in..

Last year she went on a 'back to work' course and the woman who ran it insisted that she could prove that everybody would be better off in employment.
Epic fail on her part. She suggested (to Kirsty) that she didn't get a job.

Lets see how you feel in 20 years about the ferile generation currently being dragged up.

None of them will be fit to empty your bins / care for the elderly etc etc as none of them will have worked a day in their lives nor have a single skill base amongst them. except on how to work the benefit system to maximum effect.

We will be pensioners in a society with no one to pay or care for us.
And saving a pension is no longer a guarantee of ever receiving it, certainly its true value.
