Wanted to Rent: Steerer Cutting Guide Tool

As many would attest, my Steerer Tubes are simply too long.. So.. Can I borrow someone's Steerer Cutting Guide Tool? I'll throw an Anodised Present in the return envelope and cover P&P for the outbound journey..

Just use an old stem as a guide or even a wrap of tape around the steerer?

I fitted the forks and measured the steerer. I chopped it down with a pipe cutter which did a really nice job with no crap to get in the seals I rounded the edges so as not to nip the bearing cover o ring and the head doctor (or similar) o ring :

I got a good quality one (eclipse) off ebay for £8 posted - you can half that price if you look at a cheaper make

Pipe cutters are so easy to use that even i can use them do i job with ******* up
