^^ sorry, didnt mean to offend (seems im doing a lot of that apparently ) Just we do get people who join and try to sell things they dont have and pics go a way to showing that it does exist and is for sale. A call for a bike and then a first post offering exactly what he was after :? Only fair i thought that a longer term member raise the subject as the poster and reply are both from new members.

No offence taken. Equally I hope I wasn't too harsh. I just wanted to reassure everyone I was genuine.

It was unfortunate that I was in Scotland and the bike is at home.
I am hoping to post some pictures today. I need to replace an inner tube and then I can do it.

I was just totally taken back by me thinking I am never going to sell a 26yr old Raleigh rapide and b*gger me if there wasn't a post saying wanted Raleigh Rapide!

It seems like mine is a year too young and may have a differnt type of frame unfortunately. But I will get some pictures up so if anyone is interested they an let me know.

Hi everyone

As promised some pictures of my Raleigh Rapide.
In as new condition apart from the water bottle reflectors and tyres.
It is now fitted with continental sports.

Other than that it is as it left the shop way back in c.1986/7

Please let me know if anyone is interested. I have no idea how much it is worth (not the best sales technique I know ) so offers somewhere between £50 and £5000 happily received. If anyone is not interested but has an idea to the value I would be grateful of any hints.
