Wanted: American Bike (ABM) info and serial numbers

We are working on the American page for the MOMBAT.org site and need some help. There seems to be very little printed information out there so I wondered if anyone has catalogs or scans? It would also be great if you could submit serial numbers to see if we can figure out the scheme. We only have 4 bikes and that doesn't seem to be enough to break the code.

1988 Comp Lite 21" C1184
1988 Montaneus 20" (maybe 19"?) M9051
1993 M-16 17" 3M7243
1985 Montaneus 19" 1912

Early bikes, maybe just size and serial number
Mid bikes, letter for model, second digit for size, serial number
late bikes last digit of the year, second digit for model. third digit for size, serial number

Just a guess based on what we have.

Jeff, I've got three and I'll check them over the next day or two for you. Four bikes isn't bad for what is essentially a relatively obscure bike. I might have a contact for you, an American Nut (both the bike & general disposition), but it might take some time to locate him, friend-of-a-friend sort of thing. I'll try.

1990 is nicer one.

Will get to the other one later. If you need any more pictures to glean any info, lemme know. You know, I think the mother's polish is calling for the 1988, it's a bit cloudy.
