Want hi-fi quality speakers for my PC - advice please!

My PCs rigged up to a spare NAD amp and a pair of Wharfedale flat panels.... Don't believe in PC loudspeakers.....

I have a full Tivoli system for the PC. The subs sitting behind the screen.

I think they'll work on anything. I have a feeling the original soundsticks were USB only, or only good for the Mac, but I could be making this up entirely.

But I have soundsticks II on my IBM laptop, plugged into the headphone socket.

I had cambridge soundworks 2.1 speakers and they were fab, not sure why I used the dell ones that came with the pc. :?
