Waiting for payment

How long do you think it is reasonable to be waiting for payment for an item?
Someone sent me a pm saying they wanted an item I was selling, asking for my paypal details so that they could make payment that day. That was Thursday morning and despite a reminder and a reply from them saying they would pay today, I'm still waiting.

Unreasonable, or am I just being impatient?

Stick it back up for sale, if it sells and they then pay up then too late just refund them. No reason that you should be out of pocket due to their general fecklessness.

Isn't it just? Sounds rude but actually means something

Noun, fecklessness - worthlessness due to being feeble and ineffectual

Unfortunately I have found this happens a fair but, either a long wait and payment without aplogy or just general no reply despite "taking" an item.

Relist it.
