Last Year we stayed at veggie friends and had Quorn "Turkey" Roll for xmas with all the usual good veg , including brussles with veggie bacon bits through it.

This year I am having the choice of a Game pie (containing 2 Phesant, a Guinea Fowl and some chicken) A homemade Ham, A turkey and a few kinds of pork stuffing. To add to that Haggis on Hogmanay, Steak Pie on Ne'er's Day and somewhere in between I'll be roasting a Goose.

People always ask me what I'm going to eat at big Holiday meals, and I always reply "Everything but the meat"!

:) Just comparing my veggie and meat xmas dinners, can you tell which one I prefer? Vegetables are nice but they are nicer with an animal draped over them.

Traditional Polish crimbo on Christmas eve which is all veggie and fish. Lots of root vegetable based dishes, pickles and cabbage based food. We fart a lot on Christmas eve.

Christmas day, the balance is restored with a traditional English meat feast :D mmmmm pigs in blankets
