Below a picture of my current MTB, a Van Tuyl Foco of 2001.
A custom frame built by the Dutch framebuilder Gijs van Tuyl. As far as I know only 3 ever produced with this design/tubing by Van Tuyl.

Originally I had built the bike with a Rond/Magura Quake C, tailored by Rond to fit the frame, but nowadays I like to have a rigid fork installed. The picture shows the bike with Hutchinson TopSlick Airlight, but I usually ride with the Conti Twister Supersonic.
I always have ridden steel frames. The specs below show that a steel bike can still be lightweight.

Front mech: Shimano XT

Hello, cool looking bike!

Al. :D

Thanks,

I have used the Topslick tires for one of my few tarmac weekends. Always nice to see that one can be as fast as a road bike then  . Next week I shall have the Twisters installed again. If I get a change I shall post pictures of that configuration.

Regards, J.
