I don't know about recent auctions, but I've seen them in the mid $400's in the past year or so. I love these, the flared tubing is really sweet.

That's high. They use to go for peanuts; I believe someone even made a thread over in the vrc about their value/bang for the buck, some years ago. But now, at the higher prices, don't know how great it is.
