How much does it weigh?

Why are you worried that the postage charges on that heavy mech might make it an uneconomical purchase?

About the derailleur (from another forum):

"This derailleur is a special one.. super rare and historically significant too..
it is pretty much the predecessor to all modern derailleurs used today"
... "This one is mega-ultra-rare. Someone with a big-time Campagnolo collection might have to wait years and years to see another one for sale with the original pulleys and in this kind of shape." ... "I have sold five 1951 Campagnolo Gran Sport derailleurs and must say that they are more common than the 1952 version (of which I have only come acorss one!). There are however many variants of the 1951 version and I have never found one like the one that Takigawa-san just bought. Hi-campy has come to the conclusion that the one that Takigawa just bought is the first production iteration. I would tend to concur with this conclusion, but there is no way of knowing for sure."
