Unhappy Customer

Go easy on how heavy you reply at first....GET YOUR MONEY OUT OF PAYPAL....if the seller did pay that way. If he starts a dispute your paypal account will be suspended until the dispute is cleared.
If they find in his favour....and often they do (don't ask me) you will have to pay return shipping and full repay.
But that doesn't add up to anything if there is no money in your paypal account.
They can't take money from your bank account.
The mans a fool

Couple of more pics

Glad I kept them now!!

What do you reckon I should do guys - Dispute or Refund?

ooowww I dont know ... if you look really close just under the seat post you can actually see the table through it!!

how thin' like tin foil thin? he has probably been told any bits he want to stick on there ans too new for the frame, wreck geometry etc, so wants get money back, tell him cant refund unless visible structural damage

Sounds like a load of tosh to me, stick to your guns.

The LBS is blatantly telling the buyer porkies to most likely encourage him/her to buy something new from them instead without a 'flexy' frame...I worked a trial in a certain well known London chain and they pretty much wrote off anything more than a couple of years old (and not bought from them) And I agree that you would have to be nuts to thrash an older alloy frame anyways, not that they probably would. Something that nice would have been well cared for by any buyer.

As for the Ebay side of things it's a bit more complicated, having seen the missus have a similar problem recently (with the sale of some designer shoes of all things   ). Yes you would be best to get the funds out pronto as HB suggested to avoid losing the cash but if it goes to a dispute Paypal will put your account balance into a minus figure until it's all sorted  My advice is if that happens to take it on the chin, Ebay always side with the buyer as said already BUT make sure that you escalate the dispute to a claim immediately so that Paypal will force the buyer to send the bike back with full tracking in order to get the refund - and make him suffer the same shit from Parcelforce. They will also have to do it within a set time or they will lose all the money and you'll keep it. Secondly if, as and when you receive the bike back inspect it with a fine toothed comb, take pics and compare. As the frame was all mint and kitted out with NOS parts it'll be easy to see any damage made by the buyer and you can then claim back and hold the cash. The fees will be refunded once the claim has been rectified so don't worry 'bout them.

That's the most I've typed for ages. I'll have me tea now :)

dispute . accusations unfounded . without any evidence to what he claims its just a sob story . booo hoo

Thin

Hi there

The only thing that's probably thin is his wallet. His misses has probably looked at their bank account and has gone ape. Stick to your guns he's trying it on.

Cheers kirbdug
