U.S.E Sub fork

Yes, it worked quite well from memory. They were only 100mm travel, but as they didn't dive loads under braking it was well used.
Clunky top-out though.

Long shot - but does anyone have any SUB parts. I have just broken the mount today, that holds the caliper in place.

I have had it 21+ years from new and it has done really, really well ...... but nothing lasts forever. It is the main cantilever arm bit that hold the caliper in place. I have the rest. If you know where there may perhaps be one - I would be really interested. Keeping an eye out on all the normal places - Youtube / Marketplace etc. Thanks.

Rory Hitchens was advertising loads of spares last year. No idea if he had any takers, I *think* they may have been free to people who could make use of them.

He's UK retro MTB scene royalty and an absolutely lovely gent to boot. I'm sure if you messaged him on facebook he'll help you if he can.

That is good thinking. It was actually Rory who initially boxed up and sent me the fork from Petworth all those years ago, when he fully had his feet fully under the desk at USE. I have contacted him occasionally over the years for the odd thing.

Let me see if I can do that one further time. Thanks for the suggestion - not quite sure why I didn't think of it myself - only that Rory no longer works there (as I am sure you know) - but I do know, as you suggest, he has always remained helpful on such matters. Thanks.
