Tyre size for gt

Wonder what tyre size should I get for a steel frame talera ,the originals are pretty shot they are 26 x1.95 ,doesn't seem to be a lot of choice in this size ,far more in 2.0 ..etc

If it's a u brake frame 2.15 is absolute max and it's close real close! Better with 1.95 to 2.1. if v brake or canti 2.15 happy!

My 97 talera had narrow chain stays so 2.1 was about the max you could fit.
