Looks like you are getting there bud,

I'm wondering if the lever will cause a problem? :?
The fact that the two cables will both recieve different amounts of "pull" from the lever, as one is further from the pivot than the other?
D'ya kow what Im saying or am I just coming across as stooopid?

I agree - even if you set the calipers seperately to bite at the same point, the leverage ratio will be different, no????

I doubt if it would make a great deal of difference. Mainly due to the minimal length difference of the cable.
Only one way to find out I guess.
Get connected and pull the lever

the 2 cables move the same when pulling the lever , it's a "you've got too see this to belive it thing" the bit that holds the cable ends pivots on a rivet so keeps pulling straight if you know what i mean ?

i'm still waiting on word on the hub (the guys really busy) , is it normal to feel so excited about a bike ?

i'll be honest with you , i'm not expecting great things from this..... just as long as it works as good as a normal single disc then i'll just be happy with the way it looks

the head turning and daft questions will be good too tho then the "i built it myself" bit

Why not put 2 x 9" rotors on it?

cause the only 9" discs i have are on my dh bike and i have 2 180mm discs sitting here doing nothing anyway
