Trial - Gold Trader status

I have 29 good feedback replies. Then I read this thread and saw my 'speshul' banner... :shock:

Right, I'm up to date with all my feedback, just need to wait and see if I can rally the reciprocal love I'm owed.

mr rubble, ive been meaning to chase you for some feedback i have done for you. with the avatar banner thing, i just noticed if you click on someones profile they wont have a banner, if you a fraud and you have the banner included in you avatar it will most definately show, so, dont trust anyone who has a banner on their profile avatar

Just wish more people would of left feedback previously. I have had my thread linked to my profile for ages but its easy to forget to leave feedback in the excitement of opening packages of new toys (I know as I too am guilty of it)

Now I am a little worried that us with less than Gold status will be looked on with suspiciously despite having years membership and a good number of both reported and unreported succesful trades under our belts. Creating a two tier system, making it harder for those of us without the status to achieve it.

No Idea how many trades I have made on here but im pretty sure it is more than the number reported on my feedback...probably just within the last 12 months.

All in all though, I am in favour of it and I am sure my slight concerns will not be played out.

Agree with you. Their a lot more who i've had happy buying/selling who can't be bothered to leave feed back :roll:

I didn't really know that feedback was such a big issue here. I must admit I've never left feedback (not that anybody has ever asked me to). Nor was I aware that there was a feedback thread for me, but thanks to Tony there is one, with two posts in it!

I may well have bought and sold more than thirty items on here and I feel sure that everybody I have dealt with was happy, but I'm concerned that this system now makes me out to be a second-class citizen. People could even assume that those who lack the gold banner are not reliable traders, even though I feel sure that this isn't your intention.

I do see the point here, but I think in the long run it will prove to be a good scheme. If you sell something then remind the buyer to leave feedback and it will soon mount up. I have just sent a load of messages to people who have bought from me, or who I have bought from to see if I can increase my numbers.

I think those like me who have less than 30 can always point out that they have had more and are awaiting feedback or point to outside sources for confirmation (i.e. ebay feedback).

Just a thought.
