Update -
Decided finally on the Effetto and it arrived this very morning
Came as above in a roll, the deluxe version with some bits in the roll, in a card tube, which ill keep it in.
First off its smaller than I thought it would be, despite seeing pics. Its 160mm long by 18mm in diameter, quite light but not too light, definitely has a feel of quality all the same.
I opted for the basic model which in non ratcheting, though while slightly inconveniant, I did read during this research that the ratchet on a torque wrench can damage the torque calibration if its used a lot to reverse, ie take the screws/bolts out. Plus I suppose less to go wrong. No bells no whistles.
I was also during the hunt was interested in how audible the click would be. Be a sad day to mess it up and over tighten or damage by not being totally aware it doesnt 'slip' it just makes a loud clack noise to you need to listen out for.
I can confirm its easy to hear, even with the TV on, but also you feel it. Again maybe thats down to the tool having no absorbing grip.
I suppose that also answers about being home only or trail( Like I trail

) but you really wouldnt notice it if you were to carry it with you.
So this means I can finally fit the new rotor cranks to the Sunday best, and then finally to bleeding tthe brakes, and finding out why the chain jumps so much on its split link :?
I know many will think thats a shed load of a price for what it is and what its for and the tiny amount of time it will be used, but I'm working on the premise that its me,myself and I thats injured should something snap due to some cack handedness. We all have stories of semi trained spanner swingers making a mess of it through not knowing. Being at the business end of the proceedings I'd rather not discover all this through face plant feedback. I've been there and it F******G hurts.
Who does your discs ?, who does your forks ?, or anything that can result in catastrophic failure.
Maybe I just dont trust my local shops anymore :? Either way, Im happy that its done as per instruction.
And I got a trade rated 750w impact drill ex display at 1/2 price. A good day for me.
Right. Lotto numbers......
