Tool time

Doing builds, you need to shake 'em down

I have all the tools to do builds

But these tools are 'shop tools not trail tools

With a suitable emergency/tweakage kit attached to me, I approximately double in weight

I think I need a decent multitool

Any suggestions? It's only gonna get light use so I don't want to spend millions on it

Just another quick one as you are reading this...

Anyone know what I need to be looking for in order to undo the lockring on mid nineties LX/XT chainsets?

- I noticed the spring clip

But don't want to attempt to undo the ring with out something good to engage in the notches

Anyway

Aside from humorous observations about my writing style, any suggestions on the topic of tools?

Definitely!

Clickety click - Bought one of those!

- Agreed Bacho make damned good kit

I have a Bacho adjustable spanner and some of those funky pliers that can be set to different jaw widths, had them since I was a teenager and they're still going strong

Thanks very much for the tip!

Yeah looks like a useful collection of tools, rather than a cheap Swiss army knife rip off

Particularly like the look of that chain splitter, I looked at some multi tools before asking the question and they mostly looked fairly useless

Went for makster's Bacho suggestion, so no chain splitter for me, but it's perfect for my requirements
