These things often happen so quickly. One moment you're flying along, next moment you're lying on your back wondering what just happened. Myself and the bike ended up quite far apart so I think it must have flown through the air and hit either a rock or a tree.

I hear you, Sir, regarding the flying bike. I'm glad, that you're OK. a new bike or frame can be bought anytime. (though for buying new you should not have to destroy the old one, you know! )

No hiding my idiocy, apparently. Fiona was obviously hugely impressed by the colour of my leg (not).
I am reconciled to never winning a rainbow jersey, but I am proudly wearing the WORLD CHUMPS STRIPES on the back of my right leg.
