Today's Ride

That's pretty good, I had to stop a couple of times and lift my bike down, never again.

It's a challenging area to ride generally

Nice morning for a ride here, a cool breeze and intermittent cloud to temper the suns rays. Just took it easy scooting through the woods. Stopped by these logs for a sip of water and a scotch egg.

The rooty and rocky section of Devil's Elbow looks like the trails around here, but wider and with less trees than we have. Love that type of terrain

My brother and I went for a ride around Clumber Park this morning. He was on his '21 Zaskar, and I was on my '94 Avalanche, which felt like a BMX bike next to his.

Been pretty knackered these last few days, so spent the first half of the day sitting in my shed drinking coffee and thinking about doing something, in the end I fiddled about with another build that I am working on and made some small progress, so it's all good.

I wasn't planning on a ride today, but felt the urge about 8pm so mooched around the park for an hour.

The ferns have literally doubled in height in the last week!


Just a nice chilled out peaceful ride on one of my favourite bikes. 20C, bloody windy! but dry, and still light, well past 9pm - what's not to like
