Didn't research it fully tbh but the 'community' hunting idea appealed. A bit of old school communal vigilantism

would've been brill if it had the ability to be tracked any where in the world or even within the UK, I'd be front of the queue, nice idea... one day it will happen I'm sure, until then we'll just have to rely on old skool lock and chain and stop the theft happening in the 1st place,
knowing that once its gone its most likley gone for good :cry:

this is similar to Stick n Find.. or something like that.. I have seen it somewhere.. basically, you attach it to your handbag or something and then track where it is.

Seems a bit mad to fit a tracking device to parts removed with a turn of an Allen key to me. If you want to steal a bike and mover it on surely the lights would be the first thing to go to make it less like the bike stolen? People already steal saddles and posts for fun so that's not a great place for one either. IMHO anyway.
