Properly set up shimano 11 and 12 speed will shift across most of the block quite quietly and smoothly under quite significant load. I mean, jabbing at the buttons when trying to put out 1000W it won't!

SRAM? The difference between quiet and noisy SRAM seems to be about 1/16th of a turn on any screwed joint of any description anywhere on the bike..........

No, they are designed to do that now, they even added ramps and profiles and additional teeth to help you do it even in the 90s

Great Mr Chicken then these people I have heard must all have broken bikes.
I let my Son ride one of mine sometime ago now and he was doing it.
Doesn't do it when I ride it.
