The unofficial Bigfoot/Ozone/Smokestone thread

go down there had a quick look over it however, it not only had a seized cracked seatpost, it also had a cracked frame 😔.
Since getting it home I've also found a crack in the ITM titanium stem.
Cracking value all round
I picked up an E2 that was supposed to be crack free, yeah right... Seller went quiet after my message of disappointment. Easy come easy go hey?

Shame about the cracks as that was at somepoint a corking bike and would have looked the biz when new

Loving all the these bikes but doe's anyone have a disc only bike ?
I remember them having a dropout dedicated to the Hope mechanical caliper, anyone made a dropout for I.S. mount ?

Cheers all

Sorry to all the purest out there, I thrown this together to ride with the grand kids not for originality it does have genuine rockshox boxxer 151 hydracoil that I painted up a long time ago and I also welded gussets to it to take the forks and rear disc brake mounts.

But I think this bike has some history my old man used to weld them up and I rode two for them in the 90s one was a gold bigfoot and later I had a silver one when they became ozone.

I grabbed this frame from ozone as they shut down so could possibly be the last ozone ever made, it wasn't even finished. I love the bikes and I have had lots of fun on them over the years and it's great to see so many of them still going and being loved.

Made some big progress today on 065. Managed to fit new seals and oil to the bombers, new stem and started putting in the gear wiring but I ran out of outers for the rear. Changed the saddle as well, trying to keep it UK where I can plus truth be told I find flite saddles really uncomfortable, love the comfort of X-Lite saddles. All my bikes have them 😄. It's going in to Graham Foot's shop on Saturday to get the hoses done on the brakes (I can't do brake hydraulics). Plus new smokes on the way as these tyres don't suit.
Ok mate nice bike i been looking as the ozones and smoke frames now the back brake callipers studs some look weilded on but yours look like there screw on ( the red block) is that right did yours come wirh them or have you addeded them i have an ozone frame coming but its disc brake i would have liked to add brake bosses but not possible thanks
