the tube welds look like machine welds, they are so consistent. only when you look at the gusset welds do they start to look hand done as they are a straight run and the tail is a bit hot. You can even see the start and overlap of the finish on the head to top tube, almost perfect puddle overlap of a few mm but not complete.
beautiful bit of work by a very competent welder who isn't trying to "stack dimes".
I am not sure the French manufacturer Emery has been mentioned in this thread.
They had a pretty special Ti frame in 93 I believe that was made in Taiwan and was 6Al-4V tubes throughout. That's pretty exceptional as 6Al-4V is much more difficult to work with than 3Al-2,5V. Personally, I have never seen another frame made exclusively from 6Al-4V tubes.
Also the details on the frame and reinforcments with the use of sleeved tubes are pretty far out:
Can any titanium experts confirm if this Thin Blue Line was built by Litespeed as is being claimed? Info on this rare Canadian brand is incredibly scarce
So rare to find any info on Thin Blue Line bikes. Thank you for confirming the Litespeed connection for the ti bikes. I wish I could find information on where the steel and aluminum bikes were made. They are quite nice, the roadbikes made from logic tubing really look like Ritchey quality.
