^ Interesting advert description; never actually heard about failures concerning these frames till now.

With the repair which will probably hold up, still think that is a bit overpriced to be honest. Sold mine last year for more-or-less the same amount and included new original decals. All it needed was to be bead-blasted again.
 
I view repaired frames as usable but worthless - especially ti.

If it broke through crash, there may well be stress elsewhere.
If it broke through fatigue, then there's more fatigue, and it's a design flaw.

The repair is likely to have complex features built in - many repairs break again after a certain amount of use.

This bike has been kept relevant and spent no time at all in storage in its full 3 decades of use, and this is one of the reasons😍
