The Noisy Neighbours....

The way City played last time out deserves massive plaudits. Last thing that should happen is getting rid of Mancini when he has put together such an entertaining team.

Hope the bosses give him a chance, but he may well put it beyond doubt yet.

Did somebody presume Mancini was for the high jump, i think the owners plans are a little longer winded than that (Micah & Vincent have both mentioned 30yrs in snippet interviews), Mancini was thier appointment, unlike agent Hughes...bit of a difference. A proper 2nd place finish to a team needing a record points all to trump us equals improvement, the same sort of improvement shown by Etihad Airways in it's first year in a credit crunch...word is thier into slowly-slowly-catchy-monkey and are documented to have mentioned the Premiership in 5....this is the 4th year. Like i said.. i don't think they'll be going away.

The united fan drunk on City needing his business yard that falls within the development site....seems to have hit a stumbling block, he sold segments of the yard to fellow reds which presumably complicated matters and would involve multiple people having to be fought. After knocking back 3 x's the CPO figure City finally asked the council if they could remove the fella legally and they'd build the district (a district not known for further education)a state of the art 6th form college it would be proud of...('the children need to aspire')

I was mainly remarking on the talk in the football press and punditry, based on the mad assumption that a manager is always at risk if they don't win everything.

To be fair, it is only because United are currently in the driving seat (currently), that no one is suggesting Ferguson should retire.

Certainly haven't seen much retrospective criticism of him for losing Tevez.

I am just glad to see the quality of football being played. Even Arsenal are pulling their socks up. Can't harm the next few years football we will be watching.

Massive pressure on United tomorrow, and City have shown their quality man and team in the last few games as things got tough by getting stuck in and making sure United will have to win it in the last furlong.

I don't know Mancini's thinking in reiterating that it is finished, and that United are unbeatable, but it is quite entertaining as it is clearly not so.

To be honest, if it were not for Ferguson's age and the fact he might want to retire, and nothing else was up for grabs this year, I would rather see City win it after such a stunning display as they made today.

It really would not be disaster for United to lose it, but it would be hugely uplifting for central Manchester for City to come back and nick it.

I hope they let Mancini have a couple of years to relax into his role after this season.

Reckon Arsenal will be back even stronger next year.

I can't wait for next season.

Predicting Roy Keane will be back in management next season.

'Reckon Arsenal will be back even stronger next year'

Word is VanPersils personally accepted Citys wage structure

I tend to agree with Mancini, i think Trafford have won it, it will hurt enough to galvanise 'em to the next level..plus it will be entertaining to shit-'em-up a bit knowing the football watching world is looking on (thats definately not a majority blue opinion). They recovered from the mauling at the swamp brilliantly but football wide reds who talk sense know there's not a lot to deflect it happening again when The City of Manchester hit the notes.

Teams of high paid big hitters don't always work out.

I think City have the guns they need already, and would be better sitting it out and forming a multi format team.

The formula is pretty much working.

Arsenal are very much a team, I am sure they can regroup as they have in the past.

Mancini is on one. He knows he made a gaff talking about it being down to the derby, and he is wisely playing cool now.

The guy is a serious contender.

Perhaps enough of a contender to fend off the "Special" one.

I hope so.

I think someone might be for the offmans and there may well be a vacancy on the firm.....so to speak.

Every player in every position in the premiership is a multi millionaire, teams of big hitters work out somewhere.

I meant that Chelsea didn't work out.

There is obviously more passion at City.

I have nothing against the big money, footballers do a hell of a lot more than F1 drivers.

Mancini planted a seed and his team reacted. That is Ferguson style, and he has shown respect and humility the 'Special One' was incapable of.

There is a saying, that to defeat a great opponent you must first learn to respect them.

Roll on May.

Let's have it!

With love and respect.

If city dont win the title then the buck stops at mankini. Piss poor man management displayed with tevez and balotelli.
His body language when 1-3 down against Sunderland said it all. Out of his depth

The fat lady is fixing her make up; adjusting her hair.

Oops, she tripped on the step. We shall have to wait and see if she makes it to the stage!

Funny how Red Nose stated this would be the biggest derby he'd been involved in, it was'nt long ago he was calling us the noisy neighbours adding Liverpool were Scums derby match, we were just an annoyance. Should'nt have said that Sir Alex should'nt, they've gone and got a F🤬🤬k-off Marshall amp that goes upto 11  .....dont take my word for it like....you'll hear 'em week a monday.

CamelGob looked bonny walking off...
