I forgot about the Jermaine Beckford (championship) game ...still..£28k in the olde 3rd division is what made the minds up for the Arabs to invest. Any screaming about us getting lucky should turn out at thier own place.

I don't think the fans will get too carried away, a few interlopers have tried with the new age pricey ticket sales(aftermarket) and been told this is not Trafford, making huge profits out of fellow blues results in a nuckle butty....different people. Intrestingly i know an aged red who attends Eastlands regular, knowing he was staunch i pulled him and he was very open about it explaining he simply could'nt afford OT anymore and because he can get in at Eastlands for £20 nearly everytime and sometoimes £10 or even £5 then he still get to view all the best premiership players, adding 'lets face it...they deserve it'.

Beckford didn't play for us when we came back up, he left for free after we got promoted. We beat Scum when in Div 3.

My apologies fella....reet player wrong division, still me basic point about teams from anywhere in British Isles being able to pull a 28k crowd when in that 3rd tier is no doubt not lost on you. Neither will me point about trophys won in the past not standing for much in the here and now.

Can never imagine leaving before the end. If I've paid for a ticket I want my moneys worth! I guess many Scum fans have never known a period when they didn't expect to win. Still a disgrace though.

Also noticed Sir Ryan seemed to get off lightly. Not doubt he'll win the Sports Personality award again this year for doing f**k all.
