Pre year 2000 mountain bike frame that is... and you would think it's carbon fiber viewtopic.php?f=1&t=394020, or a klein, to my surprise, it's a 1997 Gary Fisher Supercaliber 16.5in:

Hehehe! Indeed, 'tis plastic fantastic. 1993 Trek OCLV carbon. At the time it was touted as the lightest MTB frame available. I have no idea if that's true, but it's one of the lightest early 90s frames around.


I'm building the courage to try and replace all the photos in my build threads thanks to photobucket. :evil: :evil: :evil:

Stretching it a bit (told its a 2001), but the teeny Alu Caygil frame that's WIP for the daughter came in at just under 1500g for the bare frame which may well just be the lightest I own.

Its also the only one I have weighed so who knows for sure
