I've just spoken with Dr S about this in PM and he's said the red mother of pearl on top of the lilac is the correct way to get the Team Violet so looks like I FINALLY got the formula correct!

HOORRRAAAAYYYYYY

*dances a little jig in chair*

Good for you mate. I have been messed around by body shops before for the motor which almost cost me a tailgate for a brand new mercedes. You need to stand your ground with these companies. If one person lets is slide, they just do it to more people so you've done us all a favour by making them redo the work.

Im sure it will look awesome, I'll keep an eye out for it.

This is going to be a fantastic looking bike when it's done, though if it were me I'd be getting a set of P2s sprayed at the same time as the Rockshox, just in case I fancied a rigid build in the future. Can't wait to see this finished!

New pics.... finally the frame's done as requested with the top to bottom fade and red pearl flip, which you can 'just' see in these pics.

The forks are off to Flooksie for a full servicing, gonna get the frame's threads and seat tube reamed via the Bromley Bike Co and then get old hussy built up!

That looks amazing!

- Are the fork lowers done in powder or wet paint?

- Were they stripped to bare metal before painting and if so how were they stripped?

Pleased to see this has come back to you again - hopefully you're happy with the results this time round??????

It's all done in wet paint, stripped back to bare metal, primed, primped and painted.

Dunno how they were stripped however.
