Someone went to Andorra and reported that they had seen this little Marin "abandoned" at a car dealership.
I took up the mantle, called, sent a transport, and brought her to Madrid.
Those were different times, and everything was simple and quick; it went perfectly.
It was pretty good, just change parts and look for the ones that had been replaced with the most original ones possible.

Out with the junk
I never liked the STI covers; they accumulate dirt and dried grease. Out with them too.
The "horns"... I don't use them, out!
The handlebar grips are fine, but I won't budge there. The grips are always sweaty.
The rusty cable hangers are replaced with new ones, as are all the cables, as always.

The chain is out, it's one of the cheap ones.
Instead, a Shimano HG 91 NOS.
The seat post bolt is rounded, it's a shame... OUT!
Instead, a Control Tech and titanium, this bike deserves it.
The chain is off; it's a cheap HG 70.
Instead, a Shimano CN-HG 90 NOS2... it wasn't easy, but it turned up.

Ritchey grips are always a hit, at least for me.
I never liked Marin Lite tires, and they're also a cult product, so I'm putting on Panaracer Magic tires in perfect condition. Green latex Michelin inner tubes complete a lightweight setup (RM 395 rims + Wheelsmith DB15 1.8-1.6-1.8 spokes with aluminum nipples).

The Action Tech titanium bottom bracket is in place. An XT cassette (the bolts holding it together are a liability and loosen, so it's out of the question). An aluminum end cap is better than a steel one.
The rest is simple: Marin Lite
