The Canadian "Team Chance"

Thank you! The frame measures 20" when you measure the entire seat tube from both ends. From the center of the bottom bracket to the end of the seat tube, it's just under 19".

I'm generally interested in the stem. However, I live in Germany. What's the stem's pitch?

Thanks, yes, they're really great, no cracks or anything. The bike has been kept in a (warm) garage for years.

I'll send him an email about the stem today.

Shipping a stem to Germany is no biggy (I assume).

Also, one of my best friends owns two local Re-cycle bike shops, so if there is something specific you would like/want, just ask, and I can ask Bones (that's his nicname) what he has on hand. I know for sure that he has a couple of really nice vintage Velocity Stems, a few Zooms as well as Tioga's in different lengths on hand.

I also may have a 1993 Rocky Mountain stem that I will more than likely part with coming off of my '93 RM Equipe (am converting to ahead set on it when I drop a set Bomber forks on her).

Shipping anything to Germany is a PITA, mainly due to their overzealous, goose-stepping customs people. Ask me how I know.
Fair enough.... have never done it myself, only ever had stuff come from Germany to Canada and that was always painless.

Voice of Experience... Thank You.

I've also owned a Team Chance for two weeks and can't find much information about the bike. Here are a few photos. I've since found a Struts, but unfortunately, the stem is too short. The bike has the complete LX groupset. The bike is from the first owner and has been very well maintained.

In the photo there are still some XT components attached, I received the LX separately.
Wow nice catch! Congratulations! I saw the bike but you pulled the trigger quite fast.
What kind of cable stop is there on the fork? I have never seen it.

I can confirm that. It's best to add 30% of the value of the goods plus shipping and put it aside for the invoice from customs.
In my experience, it doesn't matter whether the items cost more or less than €150.
