The budget

Ho hum, wages will be frozen for a further two years (they've already been frozen for the past five!!!). I will have to have yet another medical assesment to prove I'm profoundly deaf and that my hearing will never come back and thus keep my DLA payments.

Everything else I'm not too bothered about, yet!

Thought the change from that hideous form to medical assessment was a positive change for DLA..

Oh it is, nine times out of ten your DLA application will be rejected, you then take them to a tribunal and it's worked out from there, this is to weed people out. The medical assessment is great, yet it gets tiresome having to do it time and time again when they already have all my information in front of them from previous medical assessments!

I bet it is. . is it annual?? My Incapacity assessment started annually but it's every 3 years now which isn't so bad.

I'm getting DLA indefinitely, it's all sorted now as my hearing will never return. I'm prepared to get the RNID in if they get arsey with it though.
