my Muddyfox Monarch comes in at 21.94. I have a 48t outer chain ring that took the weight to just over the 22lb target, but then i got a 38 for the front with the intention of running it as a double. I think 38 – 11 should be high enough for most circumstances. Once the stem & quill bolt have been shortened and seat post and other bolts looked at there are some bar ends to go on, or the 3rd ring will go on if i really can't live as a double. Quite happy as not a “boutique” part in sight. will only get lighter as the right parts come up. Frame came in at 1.8kg btw.
