Yep, though front qr maybe not be original and the rear mech cage doesn’t look right but I haven’t looked up the spec for that year. Could be a bargain though as the rest seems to be all good. May have a punt if I can think of a way to hide another bike from the wife.

Dodgy as in the chain looks a link or two too long? These auctions almost never take good or enough photos, think they just have so much to get online in a short space of time. If you ask for extra photos they sometimes realise something is worth dummying some extra bids on! Best view in person unless stuff is super cheap.

Also, it’s the chain is on bottom chainring and probably bottom sprocket on the rear that makes the rear mech cage sit at that weird angle.

It’s more the colour of the cage as it should be at least a dull silver. That blackened colour suggests a poor replacement part to my eye.

Made £210 plus auction fees. Good money in a slow marketplace.

It was a nice original bike in good condition. I was there on other business , an old boy bought because it reminded him of when he used to ride one!
