The latest project to arrive, courtesy of snowdonstumpy.
A lot of surface rust, and a seized in handler stem,10 minutes after arrival, stem removed, headset cleaned, bottom bracket threads cleaned and bottom bracket fitted.
I will collect parts, then probably build it and ride it as it is,my wife is itching to replicate the splatter paint,so may let her loose on it in the future. :D :D

Interesting to see how this turns out.

I've got one exactly the same in the same condition but its at the back of the queue at the moment :(

Great riding bikes those early Konas.

Good luck

Looking forward to riding it,wanted one back in 1990 when I left school, but there was no dealer locally.
Will make a nice addition the the fleet of Pace bikes.
A rigid steel bike will be a joy to ride at Thetford Forest through the singletrack, think I may even race it when its finished.
Not sure how to build it though,as I have Shimano, suntour and modern Sram builds.
Am tempted to single speed one of my RC200's and use the M950 on this, but not sure yet.

Looking forward to seeing this get ridden again. It used to get thrashed around our local trails by a guy now known simply as 'John the woods'.
