You have shirely jogged my memory mate :shock: I remember when I first got into serious cycling on a racer!

This is a 'Road Bike' for the unknown.

But I remember the old guys telling me they ride on ''Sew up's'' and us young un's called them ''Sprints''
Oh if we could only turn back the time to the good days.

This is a retrobike form and by my law it is HP's and not bloody friggin CLINCHERS so there you have it :evil:

I thought 'sew ups' was an Americanism? Never heard any 'old guy' (well, older than me anyway - so that's REALLY old now!) using the term. It was always 'sprints and tubs' and 'high pressures'.

And NEVER 'Campy' :shock: !!!!

Oh, and to get back to the original thread, I was talking Italian yesterday to 2 genuine Italian legends.

OK, I'll tell you....

It was the Gios guys, father and son. Very easy to get on with - but only the son, Aldo, speaks any English. And my Italian is VERY basic.
