Swedish Massange?

He is scared that is clear and he should be scared, a sex crime charge is the least of his worries, America wants him and those barstewards have Guantanamo to deny people US rights, but curious Obama has not yet closed the place down like he said he would if he got elected as president, the reason, it is too useful.

Assange is clever, very clever, but he knows what he has done so scared, in his position I would be, America has long reaching arms, hell, they still want Gary Mc'kinnon the UFO hacker.

But in what he is doing, he is keeping himself in the public eye, so if anything untoward does happen where will eyes be looking, yes, America the land of the free and there undoubtedly America will see a backlash, so my thoughts are what he is doing is political, he is if America acts dirty, he is going to hit them hard via the world pointing fingers which will undoubtedly hurt them.

Since I can remember the CIA et al have been blamed for all the evil in the world by the tin foil hat brigade.

I don't think they fear any backlash from any action they may take against Assflange.

He decides whats wrong or right, never targets China, Russia and other much more "evil" country's, but when justices comes after him, he doesn't want to play the game.

there's a intersting article by STRATFOR (which was targeted too) who had some nice views :

"This is the contradiction at the heart of the WikiLeaks project. Given what I have read Assange saying, he seems to me to be an opponent of war and a supporter of peace. Yet what he did in leaking these documents, if the leaking did anything at all, is make diplomacy more difficult. It is not that it will lead to war by any means; it is simply that one cannot advocate negotiations and then demand that negotiators be denied confidentiality in which to conduct their negotiations. No business could do that, nor could any other institution. Note how vigorously WikiLeaks hides the inner workings of its own organization, from how it is funded to the people it employs.

I think its a matter of defining justice :? This farce doesnt sound like justice to me more like a rather extreme gagging order :?

Not really fair, he did say he was going to publish something big about russia but then he got shut down by the yanks just before it happened.

Also there is RUleaks which is a spin off / partner site of wikileaks that publishes all the russian stuff, we just don't hear much about it because our media is obsessed with america and britain.

Indeed.
Whatever the merits or necessities of his exposures may be, I'm not convinced he's motivated by a sense of morality at all. Certainly has seemed prepaired to use and discard anyone in the process.

If secrets are created, why then should people not attempt to reveal those secrets, like when people who are saying they are acting on behalf of a country, which means what they do affects everyone in that country ?

But of the wikileaks who or what published them far and wide, as did anyone here actually go in search of them, I didn't, I knew of their existence but wasn't interested because I didn't want to read what I already suspect authorities are capable of and the fact that who attacks us may well do so because of those that create secrets.

This isn't a fair world and people given power fairness is out the window, so expect anything and everything.

Assange is a pillock, he knew he was the fall guy, he even said, but whatever is in his mind is up to him, so really, his problem.

But I didn't get rid of my tv and stopped reading newspapers for nothing you know.
