a lot better for going places than a single too ,makes that hundred + mile trip do-able

I cover thousands upon thousands of miles on singles, and have done trips of 15k plus on the Beemer F650.

Though generally I agree!

:)

Keep the DR,moto it up,or go off-road on it.

You'll become a better rider, and go to some amazin places.

Bandits, honestly, you won't be driftin the back end on that.

an f 650 is not a tuned dr 350 tho is it

Hence the "Though generally I agree!".

I was not disputing your point in general, just reminding there are some great singles for more than a spin round the woods.

Now back to the debate, never sell that bike, it is a keeper! Beg borrow and steal to get a road orientated bike in addition!

:)

i would like another bike in addition but i can't do it, 2 motorbikes would be taking the piss. i barely use the one i have but replacing it with something that i would use alot more makes sense.

what makes you think it is so much of a keeper? i know that with me it's more sentimental than practical.

*sigh* all this talk of motorbikes. Must get my licence :(

Do it man, even if you don't end up biking day to day you will become a much better driver.

:)

I grew up with motorbikes - my Dad always had one (BMW R65), I rode on the back to school when I was 8 8) I also rode 125s on L plates when I was younger. I've now got a 50cc moped for commuting (did 8000 miles on it last year  ). It's just cost at the moment - prob £400 to get my license...

I had some idea it had emotional value?

Now I would say sell it separately, then go shopping!
