its worth how much someone is willing to pay but the bandits are so plentiful its a buyers market. the dr is by no means a rare or massively sought after bike but more so than a suzuki clitoris, sorry bandit.

it would be like going from an orange to a carrera.

me , i'd take the bandit , more sellable if you need to , and generally more usable ,just depends what you want to do on your bikes
you can probably fit a rack to the bandit to carry a pedally bike without too much problem
a lot better for going places than a single too ,makes that hundred + mile trip do-able

btw ,dont listen to FMJ , KTM's are great and horrible in equal measures
that reminds me i must get my super duke mot'd tomorrow

all good points, spose it depends what you want from a bike. with the few bikes i've owned i never saw them as practical so just enjoyed em for what they were, the most exciting way of getting from a to b on the road.

Tough choice(i've ridden both) if you only ride on the road i would go for the Bandit.

If you do decide to keep the dr try checking the valve clearances as this is probably be the reason why it's hard to start.

yeah this is part of the issue, the bandit (being electronic start) i could walk down stairs out the front door at 445am and start it straight away and commute on it without having to HOPE it would start quickly unlike the DR. also it would be more comfortable on the roads and faster.

remember the DR never goes offroad.

frankly i want the bandit, it makes sense for me but also i don't want to get ripped off either.

thing is jon your dr's wotrh about a grand and a tidy bandit is worth about

a grand give or take a few quid
